Suriya's 'Jai Bhim' wins praise at Beijing Film Festival 2022

Suriya starrer 'Jai Bhim' was released in 2021 directly on an OTT platform, and the makers made the film reach a wider audience with several dubbed versions. The availability of multiple versions on a digital platform made the film reach more audiences, and the film was critically acclaimed. Now, Suriya's 'Jai Bhim' wins beyond boundaries. 'Jai Bhim' has been selected for the Beijing Film Festival 2022, and the film had its screening recently. The audience turned teary eyes after watching the excellent film.

After conquering the hearts of Indians, 'Jai Bhim' scores beyond the boundary as the film gets appreciation at the Beijing Film Festival. It is worth mentioning that 'Jai Bhim' was selected under several categories for Oscar preliminary nominations, but the film failed to make it to the final list.

Directed by TJ Gnanavel, 'Jai Bhim' is about the real-life incident faced by Justice Chandru, and his fight for justice. Suriya reprised the role of Justice Chandru in the film, while Lijimol Jose and Manikandan played the main roles. Sean Roldan scored the music, and the emotional songs are a huge hit.

'Jai Bhim' also faced controversies as it speaks about a specific community of people, and a case was filed against Suriya and TJ Gnanvel over it. But the Madras High Court recently dismissed the case since the makers have already made corrections in the controversial scenes.
