Actor Surya who was last seen in ‘Thaana Serntha Kootam’, is all excited for next release
Selvaraghavan’s ‘
NGK – Nandha Gopala Kumaran’. The trailer of the film was which was released recently received a good response from the audiences. The film is slated to hit the screens on May 31.
Producers SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu took to their Twitter to announce that the film has been sent for censorship and the distribution rights for the film's Telugu version have been acquired by Sri Sathya Sai Arts.
Touted to be an action political thriller, the film stars
Rakul Preet Singh and
Sai Pallavi as the female lead along with Jagapathi Babu,
Ilavarasu,
Bala Singh, Ponvannan,
Thalaivasal Vijay,
Vela Ramamoorthy, and
Ramkumar Ganesan
will be seen in essential roles.
On the work front, Surya also has an interesting line up of films like 'Kaapaan' with KV Anand, 'Yaanai' with Hari, a biopic with
Sudha Kongara and he are also in talks with young talent.
