The upcoming Tamil film 'Jailer' is set to release in theatres on August 10. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the action entertainer stars Rajinikanth, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Tiger Shroff, Sunil and Yogi Babu in lead roles. The music for the movie is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
According to media reports, Ramya Krishnan is said to play Rajinikanth's wife in the film and Tamannah is playing the role of a Telugu actress. Reports also suggest that Tamannah is not the female lead but plays an important role and it is suspected that the song 'Kaavaalaa' was also shot because she plays the role of Telugu actress in the movie. The movie makers are yet to announce the roles played by the actors in the movie.
With just 12 days left for the film release, the promotions have already begun and the film's audio launch happened on July 28. The songs from the film 'Kaavaalaa', 'Hukum' and 'Jujubee' were well received and it is expected that the trailer of the film will also be unveiled soon. The film's runtime is 2 hrs 30 mins and it has been certified U/A by the censor board.
