Tamil industry stars pay tribute to director Singeetam Srinivas Rao

Tamil cinema is one such industry that has remarkable talents, and over the years, it has carved out a separate niche audience. One of the prominent yesteryear directors, Singeetam Srinivas Rao, is one of the pioneers of Tamil cinema.


The director ruled the big screens from the 1970s to the 2000s with his marvelous creations. The director last directed the film 'Pratibimbalu' in 2022. As an ode to the director, Kamal Haasan, along with Mani Ratnam, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Vairamuthu, Madonne Ashwin, Siddharth, and Arun Matheswaran, among others, met director Singeetham Srinivas Rao for a casual chat.

Calling their casual retrospective film fete 'Apoorva Singeetam', several films of the director were showcased, followed by a detailed discussion. The production house owned by Kamal Haasan took to X to share photos from the gathering.




Actor Siddharth, who is also a huge fan of the director and his film 'Raaja Paarvai', took to Instagram to share a photo and caption it. "One of the most amazing experiences of my life was watching my favorite film with the masters who made it. Thank you, Universe."

The actor also shared a photo of Mani Ratnam with Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, with the caption: “Apoorva Singeetham; with Boss Mani Sir; Legends that make you want to be better.”
