While the acclaimed director and actor recently praised Ajith's performance in his last film 'Nerkonda Paarvai', he has now opined that Ajith will be apt to play a role like
Joker
, played by Hollywood actor
Joaquin Phoenix.
Talking about his experience of working with Ajith, Parthiepan said that it was very happy thing and it was an experience that he felt during the initial days of the star actor's career. He mentioned that he had worked in two films with him and also that he would love to work with him again.
Responding to a fan's desire of him playing a villain in Ajith's film, Parthiepan said, "I can do the villain role in his film if I get the opportunity or even better he himself can play the villain. Not that I would like to be the hero in that film, but just that he is so good at it. When he acts a hero, there is a lot of work involved in making him be the hero, but to be villain, the most important aspect is that the person needs to act. That's why I feel Ajith can be the villain."
Recalling Ajith's extraordinary performance in director SJ Suryah's 'Vaali', "If Ajith acts in a film like 'Joker', he will nail it with his brilliant acting and performance. If Ajith does a role like that the audience in the theatres will go berserk," added Parthiepan.
"Ajith is talented actor who can pull of both being a hero and a villain on screen," concluded the actor/director.
