Actor Rajinikanth has signed up for his next film with director TJ Gnanavel, which is tentatively titled 'Thalaivar 170'. On October 1, the movie makers took to social media to make the official announcement of the film's cast and crew. Announcing that the movie will be produced by Subaskaran, the movie's director and music composer are TJ Gnanavel and Anirudh Ravichander.
The production house said in a post, "Meet the producer of #Thalaivar170. Mr. Subaskaran, the #Thalaivar170 Team has got mightier with you backing it!"

While the film's technical crew has been officially announced, the movie makers have planned to reveal the cast of the film on October 2 and it is suspected that actresses Ritika Singh and Dushara Vijayan will be part of the film's cast.
On the work front, Rajinikanth was last seen in the film 'Jailer', which was directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film made a gross of Rs 600 crore at the box office and has become a major blockbuster of the year. Following 'Thalaivar 170', Rajinikanth has also signed up for his next movie, 'Thalaivar 171', which will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
