Thalapathy Vijay's stills from Suriya's hit film goes viral

It is well known that actor Suriya played the role Ajith was supposed to play initially in the film 'Nerrukku Ner', which also had Vijay playing the other lead role. Suriya has even mentioned this during the popular television game show he was hosting. While many aren't aware, there is also another film that Suriya played the lead role in which an other actor was initially signed on for. Interestingly this time it was a film which had actor Vijay in it. He had shot for a few days and stills from the film have been going viral over the past few days. Suriya and Laila starrer 'Unnai Ninaithu' directed by Vikraman was telecast on a popular Tamil television channel a few days ago. Interestingly, actor Vijay was supposed to play the lead role in the film and even shot for a few days, but later opted out due to creative differences with the director. After this, Suriya was roped in to play the lead role and the film turned out to be a huge hit. The stills of Vijay and Laila who played one of the heroines in 'Unnai Ninaithu' has now gone viral on the internet. It is to be noted that one of Vijay biggest break in his early days was 'Poove Unakkaga' directed by Vikraman released in the year 1996. While the fans were anticipating with excitement due to the blockbuster combo joining hands again for 'Unnai Ninaithu', they must have been disappointed after Vijay opted out of the project. Finally, the film had Suriya, Laila and Sneha in lead roles with Charlie, R. Sundarajan and Chithra Lakshmanan playing interesting roles in the film.
