Actor Vijay made headlines with his recent visit to Tiruchendur Murugan Temple, soon after the polling phase. After spending a few days at home, he quietly planned this spiritual trip. He flew from Chennai to Madurai in a private flight late at night. Even at midnight, fans gathered at the airport to see the 'Jana Nayagan' actor.According to News18, Vijay received a grand welcome as soon as he arrived at Madurai airport. He greeted fans by waving at them and even briefly stood through his car’s sunroof to acknowledge the crowd. Unlike his usual white shirt and pants, he wore a traditional silk veshti and shirt, which drew attention. Due to the massive turnout, his vehicle was slightly delayed exiting the airport; police stepped in to manage the crowd and ensure his safe passage.From Madurai, Vijay travelled by road to Tiruchendur and reached the temple early in the morning. He took part in the special Viswaroopa darshan and offered prayers. Temple authorities welcomed him and presented him with a sacred ‘Vel’ as a mark of respect. Even inside the temple, many people came to see him. Many devotees were impressed by how calm and simple he looked during the visit. After completing the darshan, he left the temple and planned to return to Chennai via Madurai.On the work front, Thalapathy Vijay is preparing for his upcoming film 'Jana Nayagan', which is expected to release on May 8 after a slight delay. The film has already generated strong buzz among fans. Directed by H. Vinoth, the movie features Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Narain, and several others in key roles. With its blend of action and a strong storyline, the film is considered a major release.
