TR Rajendar undergoes surgery in the US; son Silambarasan to return to India soon

Due to illness, T Rajender, the multi-talented star of Tamil cinema, was admitted to the hospital last month in Chennai and gradually moved to the US for further medical treatment. As per the latest report, T Rajendar underwent surgery in a private hospital in the US a few days back and is responding well to the treatment. The report also states that the veteran is expected to recover soon.

T Rajendar suffered internal bleeding in his abdomen and was quickly moved to the US for his next step of treatment. T Rajendar's elder son and actor Silambarasan took responsibility for helping his father in the much-needed time and went to the US a week earlier than him to make the medical arrangement. Silambarasan has also canceled his film works to take care of his father, and T Rajendar praised the actor while addressing the press and media at the Chennai airport before leaving for the US.

Silambarasan will now be returning to India soon, and he will resume the shoot for 'Pathu Thala' after his return. He plays the gangster in the Tamil remake of the Kannada film 'Mufti', and the shooting of the film will take another one month to complete.
