Trisha Krishnan is gearing up for 'Thug Life'. The movie is a gangster drama directed by the legendary Mani Ratnam. Recently the diva charmed fans with a stylish appearance at the pre-release event of the upcoming film.

The 'Leo' actress shared glimpses of her elegant outfit on Instagram. She chose a teal saree that perfectly blended summer comfort. The saree's lightweight fabric and refreshing color made it an ideal choice for the season, while the bold red polka dots added a playful sparkle to the look.

Minimal yet graceful styling steals the show
Trisha paired the saree with a matching blouse featuring delicate strappy sleeves, keeping her overall style simple yet graceful. Her makeup was light and natural, complemented by minimal accessories including a sleek pendant, earrings, and a small bindi.

While the film has been eagerly awaited, it hasn’t been without controversy. The trailer of Thug Life showed Trisha romancing Kamal Haasan on screen, which sparked criticism from some netizens due to the significant 30-year age difference between the actors.

Addressing the age-gap criticism
She addressed the criticism with confidence and grace during the pre-release event of 'Thug Life' in Mumbai. She said that she was fully aware such backlash would come even before she signed the film. When the pairing of Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam was announced, she immediately felt it was something magical, despite not being part of the project at that time.

Trisha was last seen in hits like 'Vidaamuyarchi' and 'Good Bad Ugly' released this year.
'Thug Life' features an impressive cast including Kamal Haasan and Sila. The story is set in a ruthless mafia world filled with crime and corruption. Kamal Haasan plays Rangaraaya Sakthivel Naicker, a powerful and feared crime lord who, along with his brother Manickam, rescues and adopts a young boy named Amaran (played by Silambarasan TR) during a violent shootout with the police.

It is scheduled to release on June 5, 2025.
