Trisha’s old interview on marriage resurfaces after viral appearance with Vijay at Chennai wedding: 'Want to fall in LOVE'
Social media is abuzz as a decade-old interview of Trisha Krishnan has resurfaced, sparking intense conversation about her personal life. The clip began trending shortly after the actress made a high-profile appearance alongside actor-politician Thalapathy Vijay at a star-studded wedding reception in Chennai on March 5, 2026.
"I want to feel whether this is the person I can live with for the rest of my life because I don't believe in divorce. I don't want to go in for a divorce when I get married and I'm someone who will," she said.
She explained that she wants to feel confident that the person she chooses is someone she can live with for the rest of her life. “I don’t believe in divorce… I will think 100 times before marriage. I don’t want to end up hurting someone else or living an unhappy life,” the 'Vidaamuyarchi' actress added.
Krishnan added, "I know tons of married couples around me who are in it for all the wrong reasons. They are extremely unhappy...I don't want to be in such a marriage. I want to fall in love. Marriage is secondary, but I definitely want to meet my companion... that I'm very particular about. I don't want to end up divorced, I don't want to end up hurting someone else or living an unhappy life so I will think about it 100 times before I do it."
