Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela
turned down a role in
Nerkonda Paarvai
.
The 25-year-old actress was offered the role of an independent young woman named
Meera Krishnan in the 2019 blockbuster, a character that eventually went to
Shraddha Srinath. However, Urvashi has now revealed that she turned it down due to scheduling conflicts.
Nerkonda Paarvai was the official remake of Hindi hit film Pink, which starred Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang, Vijay Varma and Angad Bedi.
Thala Ajith
has reprised the role played by Amitabh Bachchan in the Tamil remake. The movie was well-received by the audiences as well as critics alike. Producer Boney Kapoor had acquired the remake rights to bankroll the film in Tamil.
Meanwhile, Urvashi Rautela, who was crowned Miss Diva – 2015, made her Bollywood debut with Singh Saab the Great and went on to star in films such as Sanam Re, Great Grand Masti and Hate Story 4. She will be next seen in
Anees Bazmee's Pagalpanti
, which is scheduled to release on November 22, 2019.
