Actor Vaibhav, who is now part of Vijay’s #Thalapathy68, will be playing the lead in a heist comedy directed by Vikram Rajeshwar, the son of yesteryear filmmaker K Rajeshwar, known for films like Amaran and Idhaya Thamarai.
“While my father is known for directing and writing films that were mainly in the action and thriller genres, I’m happy to be making my debut with a film that will be an out-and-out comedy,” states Vikram, who started filming the project in Chennai yesterday.
“The film is set in Chennai, and it revolves around a robbery gone wrong,” he reveals.
Athulya will be seen as Vaibhav’s pair in the film, which has a bunch of comedy actors, including Anandraj, Naan Kadavul Rajendran, John Vijay, Redin Kingsley, Ilavarasu, and PL Thenappan, in its cast. D Imman is composing the music for, which has Tijo Tomy as cinematographer.
