has quit Twitter. Though we don’t know the exact reason behind the step, it seems Vanitha couldn’t take more of the barrage of abusive tweets that came her way. Vanitha’s recent marriage to

has been embroiled in controversy right from day one.

Peter Paul’s estranged wife Elizabeth had claimed that Peter didn’t grant her a divorce and hence, his marriage to Vanitha isn’t legal. Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, with whom Vanitha recently had a heated exchange on an online portal, tweeted, “How can someone with education and exposure make such a blunder?!! Why did the first wife wait till the #VanithaPeterpaulWedding got over, why didn’t she stop it?” (sic). This seems to have irked Vanitha who asked Lakshmy to mind her own business. Kasthuri too indulged in war of words with Vanitha Vijayakumar.

Kasthuri reacted to Vanitha leaving Twitter in a sarcastic manner. She wrote, “ennaachu ? (A)singapenn enge odittaanga ? Afraid of any 'kaakaa' or afraid of the truth?Now u know. You are the Biggest Bosses who decide who is bold and who is comedy piece. #SupportElizabethHelen #RespectLakshmiRamakrishnan. Lakshmy madam advised me to keep quiet for the longest time. But enough is enough.Abusing any woman and character assassinating her with false allegations is a CRIME. Time to hit back. Time for Justice.”
