Actress Vanitha Vijayakumar has revealed her plans to get married again. She made the announcement through an Instagram story, sharing that her wedding with choreographer and actor Robert Raj will take place on October 5. This will be her fourth marriage.
In her Instagram story, she shared a picture in which she was seen going down on one knee to propose to Robert on a seashore, and both were twinning in white outfits.
Robert Raj is well-known for his work as a choreographer and his appearance as a contestant on Bigg Boss Tamil Season 6.
Vanitha, daughter of veteran actor Vijayakumar and half-sister to Arun Vijay, first married actor Akash in 2000, with whom she has two children. The marriage ended in 2005, and after a long legal battle, the couple shared custody of their children, though her son eventually lived with his father and grandfather.
In 2007, Vanitha married businessman Anand Jay Rajan, and they had a daughter together. Unfortunately, this marriage also ended in divorce in 2012, with Rajan gaining custody of their daughter. Vanitha later claimed that family disputes had negatively affected this relationship.
After her second divorce, Vanitha began dating Robert Raj, with whom she worked on the film 'MGR Sivaji Rajini Kamal'. The couple eventually broke up in 2017, and Vanitha later converted to Buddhism, speaking openly about her battle with depression.
In 2020, Vanitha married photographer Peter Paul, who was still legally married to his first wife at the time, causing public controversy. However, Vanitha and Peter ended their relationship the same year.
