Vedhika to play 60-year-old woman in her next film

We had recently reported that Vedhika is a part of debutant director Victor Jayaraj���s film, Vinodhan, which is produced by Prabhu Deva. Now, we hear that the actress will be playing a 60-year-old woman in some segments of the film, which is a psychological romantic drama.
A source close to the team says, ���As the title suggests, Vedhika���s characterisation in the film will be peculiar.The transition in her looks ��� from that of a school girl to a 60-year-old woman ��� will be interesting. We are not going to bring in any famous makeup artist to change her looks; instead, we are going to show her as an aged person subtly without altering her features so much. She will not even be using a wig for the transition.���
The source adds, ���Despite being busy with her other films��� shoots, Vedhika is taking up virtual acting workshops for the role. Director Victor Jayaraj is teaching the actors through Skype as the script is a demanding one for actors.���
The shoot of the film will begin this month. Isari Velan���s grandson Varun will play the male lead.
