Veera pins hopes on 'Arasiyalla Idhellam Sadharnamappa'

Veera, who is gearing up for his third film, Arasiyalla Idhellam Sadharnamappa, hopes that the film will help him get a wider reach among audience. The actor, who plays a Puducherry-based photographer in it, says his character is quite different from those he played in Nadunisi Naaygal and Rajathanthiram. Cuckoo fame Malavika Nair plays the female lead, in the role of a wedding planner.The film also has Robo Shankar and Pasupathy as a politician and hit man respectively.
Says Veera, “There are certain circumstances due to which my character travels to Chennai. All these characters get entangled in a bizarre situation, which results in the humour in the film. Motta Rajendran and Shah Ra also play crucial characters in the movie. I think Shah Ra is going to be really big after the film’s release. I have seen the film around 20 times, and each time I saw it, he cracked me up.”
Veera says that he feels stressful as this is his first attempt at a family entertainer. However, he is happy about the ensemble cast the movie has. “We have the right artistes to light up the mood. The director Avinash, an ad filmmaker, too, has a flair for comedy, which was another reason why I feel things have fallen in place. I’m waiting for the audience’s reaction now,” he signs off.
