Venkat Prabhu celebrates 15 years of his film 'Saroja'

Venkat Prabhu just returned from the US after working on the VFX work for 'Thalapathy 68'. The film is in pre-production stages and will soon be taking off. The director took to Twitter to celebrate 15 years since the release of his film 'Saroja'. 'Saroja' starred Shiva, SPB Charan, Premji, and Vaibhav in lead roles, and the cast also included Sampath, Prakash Raj, and Jayaram.

Sharing photos of the team that worked with Venkat Prabhu off screen—director Pa Ranjith, producer Siva, and writer Kandhan Pitchumani, among others—Venkat Prabhu's statement read, "Happy #Saroja day!! #15yearsofSaroja happened to meet the core team here in Mumbai."

'Saroja' was released in 2008, and the movie received a lot of positive reviews and was critically acclaimed. The film's story revolves around four youngsters who are friends, and the plot is about how they get into trouble with a gang that kidnapped a rich girl while they missed the route to Hyderabad on the highway.
