Venkat Prabhu to rope Illaiyaraaja - Yuvan Shankara Raja as music directors for his next with Naga Chaitanya

’ and ‘Manmatha Leelai’, Venkat Prabhu is making his next film with Naga Chaitanya. The movie is a bilingual film and it was announced a few months ago. Reportedly, the shooting for the movie is expected to begin on June 23 in Hyderabad and this film marks Venkat Prabhu’s 11th film and Naga Chaitanya’s 1st film in Tamil.

Now, reports suggest that the music for the movie is composed by

Illaiyaraaja

and Yuvan Shankar Raja. Reportedly, the song recording for the film started on June 12 in Chennai by Illaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja. An image from the studio of Illaiyaraaja along with Venkat Prabhu has been released which confirmed the speculations. The official announcement from the movie makers is yet to be made. Earlier, Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja had worked together for ‘Maamanithan’ and fans are waiting to listen to the composition made by the father-son duo.

If the news is true, this will be the first time Venkat Prabhu will collaborate with his uncle Illaiyaraaja for a movie. It was also reported earlier that actor Arun Vijay might play the role of the antagonist in the movie.
