Veteran actor Karthik Muthuraman to play a guest role in Karthi’s next

After appearing alongside Suriya in the Pongal entertainer ‘Thaana Serndha Koottam’, it looks like veteran actor Karthik Muthuraman is all set to work with Karthi in his upcoming yet-untitled flick. The film was officially launched by Suriya earlier this month.

To be directed by debutant Rajath Ravishankar, the film stars Karthi and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead after their successful collaboration in ‘Theeran Adhigaram Ondru’. Actors Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishnan, RJ Vignesh and Amrutha will be seen in supporting roles. Noted cinematographer Velraj will be cranking the camera. Produced by Prince Pictures and Reliance Entertainment, the yet-untitled film has music by Harris Jayaraj, who is teaming up with Karthi after a long time. If reports are to be believed, ‘Karthi 17’ as it’s popularly known, is expected to release this year.

Last seen in the blockbuster film ‘Theeran Adhigaram Ondru’, Karthi is gearing up for the release of ‘Kadaikutty Singam’ with Pandiraj. Produced by brother Suriya's 2D Entertainment, the film is tipped to be a rural entertainer and will hit the screens this summer.
