Veteran actor Prabhu was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai on February 20 after suffering severe stomach pain. After the initial medical examination, the ace actor was diagnosed with a kidney stone. Therefore, Prabhu underwent ureteroscopy laser surgery yesterday (February 21) and his kidney stones were successfully removed through the surgery. Prabhu is now in perfect health, and after general post-surgery medical tests, he will return home in a day or two, confirmed the statement that has been released from the hospital management.
Prabhu is the son of legendary actor Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan. Prabhu also made his debut as an actor in Tamil cinema, and he has acted in over 300 films. He has acted not only in Tamil but also in other languages such as Malayalam, Telugu, and others. Actor Prabhu, who initially made his mark as a hero, then opted to do challenging roles, and he is now playing supporting roles in movies across South languages.
