Veteran actor RS Shivaji passes away
Actor RS Shivaji, known for his comedy roles in Kamal Haasan's films in the 1980s and 1990s has passed away earlier today. The veteran actor is known for his roles in films like Apoorva Sagodharargal, Michael Madana Kama Rajan, Anbe Sivam and Unnaipol Oruvan among many other films.
The talented actor was 66. He is also the brother of popular actor and director Santhana Bharathi, who is also a good friend of Kamal Haasan and was last seen in the superhit film 'Vikram' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
RS Shivaji has worked as an assistant director, sound designer and line producer on film projects. Condolence messages have been pouring in from the entire film fraternity. He has also acted in the recently released 'Lucky Man' starring Yogi Babu in the lead.
He played interesting roles in Harish Kalyan's 'Dharala Prabhu', Suriya-starrer 'Soorarai Pottru' and Sai Pallavi-starrer 'Gargi' as well.
