After the mega success of 'Viduthalai Part 1', director Vetri Maaran is coming up with the film's second part, and the much-awaited sequel is scheduled to release on December 20. The audio and trailer of 'Viduthalai 2' were launched grandly through a star-studded event. While speaking at the event, Vetri Maaran turned angry on stage. Vetri Maaran had an extended speech as he expressed his gratitude to everyone on the project that lasted more than a year. Even though Vetri Maaran listed names individually, he said "My team" when sharing thanks for his associates. But Vetri Maaran's associate, who stood at the side of the director, asked him to list their names. The interruption angered the 'Viduthalai' director, and he wrapped up his speech in anger to express his irritation.

Ahead of the angry moment, Vetri Maaran expressed his happiness on his journey of working with Ilaiyaraaja, and he considers it as a gift for advancing his personal life. The talented director then gave a special mention to Vijay Sethupathi as he contributed more to 'Viduthalai 2', and the former learned more lessons during the journey of the sequel.

'Viduthalai 2' features Vijay Sethupathi and Soori in the main roles with Prakash Raj, Chetan, Moonar Ramesh, Bhavani Sri, Ilavarasu, Balaji Sakthivel, Manju Warrier, Kishore, and Bose Venkat, among others in pivotal roles. Ilayaraaja's music is going to be the major highlight of the film. 'Viduthalai 2' is positioned to break box office records this December, and the engaging trailer has driven the buzz to the next stage.
