The most anticipated film 'Viduthalai' was released in theatres on March 31. Starring Vijay Sethupathi and Soori in the lead roles, the crime action thriller has received a lot of positive reviews. Directed by Vetrimaaran, the film focuses on socio-political issues. The film has made a box office collection of Rs 8 crore in two days and is expected to soon cross Rs 50 crore.
As the film has become a huge success, director Vetrimaaran gifted the entire crew of 'Viduthalai' with gold coin. Taking to Twitter, B Raja, who is part of the 'Viduthalai' crew shared a photo of the gold coin given by Vetrimaaran. His post read, "Director @Vetrimaaran sir gifted a gold coin for entire #VIDUTHALAI team. proud to be part of this movie. #Viduthalaipart1."

'Viduthalai part 1' was critically acclaimed after it's release and fans and movie audiences are already awaiting the release of part 2 which is scheduled to release in September. Apart from Soori and Vijay Sethupathi, the film stars Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rajiv Menon, and Bhavani in important roles. The music for the movie is composed by Ilaiyaraaja.
