Director Vetrimaaran is the most acclaimed filmmaker in Tamil cinema. He made his debut in 2007 with the movie ‘
Polladhavan
’ that featured
Dhanush,
Kishore and Ramya Nambeesan in the lead roles. Following which his films – ‘
Aadukalam
’, ‘Udhayam NH4’, ‘Kaaka
Muttai
’, ‘Visaranai’, ‘Vada Chennai’, ‘Asuran’ were all successful hits. The director is currently working on the film ‘Vaadivaasal’ starring Suriya. Vetrimaaran will also be directing Vijay’s tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 68’.
With several projects in hand, the director has now reportedly started working on a new
web series
and has already completed a major portion of shooting for it. According to reports, the web series will feature Antony who starred in ‘Writer’ and ‘Merku
Thodarchi Malai
’. The rest of the cast and crew is yet to be announced and it is expected that it will all be revealed after the shooting for the series is completed.
This will be the second web series that Vetrimaaran is working on. Previously he directed one segment titled ‘Oor Iravu’ of the anthology movie ‘Paava Kadhaigal’ that had
Sai Pallavi and Prakash Raj in the lead role.
