Music director-turned-actor Vijay Antony will be next seen in the film Tamilarasan, which is directed by Babu Yogeswaran. The film is an action thriller that also stars Ramya Nambeesan playing the female lead. While the film's release has been delayed for a long time, the makers have now released the trailer of the film.
The film also stars Suresh Gopi, Sonu Sood, Chaya Singh, Sangeetha Krish, Yogi Babu, Pandiarajan, Kasthuri and marks the debut of Pranav, the son of director Mohan Raja. The close to two minute trailer promises a gripping hostage thriller in which Vijay Antony holds a hospital hostage.
'Tamilarasan' is produced by S Kowsalya Rani under the banner SNS production company. The music of Thamizharasan has been composed by Ilaiyaraaja and cinematography is by RD Rajasekhar.
