Vijay Sethupathi's co-star joins Rajinikanth's 'Darbar'

The cast of Rajinikanth’s ‘Darbar’ seems to be growing bigger day by day. Bollywood actor Bollywood actor had joined the cast of the film recently. Now, the latest is that transgender actress Jeeva who had worked with Vijay Sethupathi in Dharma Durai has joined the cast of Darbar.
The film has Nayanthara playing lead and also stars Prateik Babbar, Yogi Babu, Anandaraj, Harish Uttaman, and Bose Venkat in important roles.The shooting of the film is on in full swing. Darbar is a cop drama set in Mumbai.

Interestingly, this is the first time that Murugadoss is directing Rajinikanth. The film bankrolled by Lyca Production has Rajinikanth playing a cop. Music for the film is Anirudh Ravochander, cinematography by Santosh Sivan and editing by Sreekar Prasad. The Mumbai-set film is scheduled for release on January 9, 2020.
