Vijay Sethupathi’s Maamanithan to release in October?

If the buzz in the industry is to be believed, Vijay Sethupathi’s

Maamanithan

is likely to hit screens in October. Maamanithan is written and directed by Seenu Ramasamy and has Gayathrie playing the leading lady. The rest of the star cast for the film includes KPAC Lalitha, Guru Somasundaram, Shaji Chen and Jewel Mary. Music for the film is by Ilaiyaraaja, Karthik Raja and Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Cinematography is by M Sukumar and editing is by Sreekar Prasad. This is the third time that Ramasamy, Yuvan and Sethupathi have teamed up for a film. The trio had earlier worked together in Idam Porul Yaeval and Dharma Durai.
In the meantime, Vijay Sethupathi is also working on his Bollywood debut, Lal Singh Chaddha in which he teams up with none other than Aamir Khan.
