Vijay Sethupathi's 'Seethakaathi' 'censored with U certificate

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is gearing up for the release of ‘Seethakaathi, a drama written and directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan of ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom’ fame. While the second look poster of the film is set to be released today, the latest is that the film has been censored with a clean 'U' certificate by the Censor Board.
Produced by Passion Studios, the film has ‘Veedu’ fame Archana playing Vijay Sethupathi’s wife, while actresses Parvatii Nair, Remya Nambeesan and Gayathrie will be seen in cameos.Filmmaker Bharathiraja will reportedly seen playing an important role. Reportedly, Vijay Sethupathi is said to play dual roles in ‘Seethakaathi’, which will see him playing the role of a 90-year-old character.
Interestingly, ‘Seethakaathi’ marks Vijay Sethupathi’s 25th film, which reportedly has a strong message on art. The makers still haven’t locked the release date of ‘Seethakaathi’ yet. Earlier in July, a making video showed how Vijay Sethupathi transformed himself to portray the character Ayya in the film.
