Saranya Mohan was happy to play the role of Vijay's sister in 'Velayudham'. She was so comfortable working with Vijay and two females Hansika Motwani and Genelia for the film. Saranya Mohan didn't know about Vijay's real-life sister while doing 'Velayudham', and Vijay turned more emotional during her death scene in the film. Saranya Mohan then shared Vijay's autograph for his friend and said that Vijay sir always likes to fulfill the wishes of his fans.Saranya Mohan is also ready to do short roles in films which didn't make her so busy, and she wishes to share screen space with Vijay Sethupathi.
