Reportedly, the theatrical rights for 'Leo' were sold for around Rs 240 crore, making it a profitable venture for the makers. But a significant portion of the theatrical collection goes to the distributors, with reports suggesting they take between 60 and 80 percent. So, for 'Leo' to be officially profitable, it needs to gross more than Rs 325 crore.

In the first two days, the action drama earned over Rs 210 crore, and by the end of the third day, it had crossed Rs 280 crore. 'Leo' is on track to be a profitable film, with good numbers coming in from areas like Kerala, Karnataka, and the USA. With the Dussehra holidays boosting collections on Monday and Tuesday, it's expected that 'Leo' will surpass the 350-crore mark by the end of its first week. Once the worldwide collection exceeds Rs 310 crore, 'Leo' is set to become Vijay's highest-grossing film.
