The shooting of Vijay's upcoming film tentatively known as 'Thalapathy 68' directed by Venkat Prabhu had begun earlier this month. While there have a numerous buzz around the cast of the film, which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the makers have finally released the pooja video of the film revealing the cast of the film.
It is now official that actress Meenaakshi Chaudhary, who made her Tamil debut with Vijay Antony-starrer 'Kolai' this year, is playing the female lead opposite Vijay in the film. The star cast includes Prashanth, Prabhudeva, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal Amir, Sneha, Laila, Yogi Babu and VTV Ganesh.
The cast of the film also includes Venkat Prabhu's usual gang which includes actors Vaibhav, Premgi, Aravind Akash and Ajay Raj. The Technical team includes cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, editing by Venkat Raajen and stunts by Dhilip Subbarayan.
It is to be noted that, earlier last month, actor Vijay went to Los Angeles along with director Venkat Prabhu for a 3D VFX scan of himself for the film, which is said to be a complete action thriller, that will have Vijay playing dual roles. While the first schedule of shooting is happening in Chennai, the team will move abroad for the second schedule of shooting.
