Vijay's 'Varisu' to have a celebrity premiere: Dhanush, Karthi, Shankar, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and other biggies to attend the special screening

The promotions for the film have slightly slowed down, and it has disappointed the fans. But the makers have made a surprise move, and Vijay's 'Varisu' will have a celebrity premiere. The 'Varisu' makers have arranged a special screening for leading stars from the cinema industry, and the screening is to happen today (Jan 10) at 8 PM at a popular theatre in Chennai. With this 'Varisu' is going to become Vijay's first film to have a premiere show in Tamil Nadu ahead of its release.

Dhanush, Karthi, Shankar, Lokesh Kanagaraj, Atlee, Anirudh Ravichander, SJ Suryah, Madhan Karky, Su Venkatesan, Lyricist Vivek, and several other biggies have been invited for the special screening, and it's going to be a star-studded screening of 'Varisu' ahead of the film release.

Meanwhile, Vijay watched 'Varisu' along with his family and close ones at a private screening yesterday (Jan 9) night, and seems like the actor is happy with the film's output.

Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, 'Varisu' features Vijay as a son of a popular businessman, and the film is filled with a different set of emotions to mold as a family drama. Thaman scored the music, while the cinematography is handled by Karthik Palani.
