'Vikram' co-scenarist Ratna Kumar speaks about Suriya's role in the film

The most anticipated film of the year ‘Vikram’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is releasing in theatres on June 3. Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi are playing the lead roles in the film and actor Suriya is playing an extended role in the film. The music for the action thriller film is done by Anirudh Ravichander.

Dialogue writer of ‘Vikram’, Rathna Kumar, reportedly revealed Suriya’s character role in the film. The writer said that Suriya joined the sets of ‘Vikram’ on the last day and performed his scenes. He stated that he missed the day when Suriya was shooting. The writer reportedly said that Suriya played a vigorous and fiery role in the movie. He added that even if Suriya’s character in the film appears for a minimum limited time, he has created an image for himself and the role he played is exciting. The writer also reportedly said that Suriya has performed exceptionally in the movie. He added that the theatres will attract a huge crowd and the movie release will be celebrated in a huge manner. The writer also said that he felt like watching the movie on the big screen even though the team was only editing the film.

‘Vikram’ is releasing in five different languages in theatres globally. Actor Kamal Haasan is currently on a tour to promote the film in different cities. He also launched the ‘Vikram’ trailer at the 75th Cannes International Film Festival. He even unveiled the NFTs of ‘Vikram’ for Metaverse.
