NV Nirmal Kumar, who made Salim with Vijay Antony, has wrapped up his second film, Sathuranga Vettai 2, and is all set to begin his next, which will have Vikram Prabhu in the lead.
“The film will be a complete commercial entertainer, with the story having equal amounts of action, romance and family sentiments. The first 10 minutes of the film happen in Chennai after which the story moves to Mumbai, where the major portions will be shot.

There will also be a short segment in the middle that will take place in a small town,” reveals the director, who is currently busy with the pre-production work on the untitled film.
While he is reluctant to reveal the character that Vikram Prabhu will be playing, he says that the actor will be seen in a rugged role, “something that he has not attempted so far”. The rest of the cast and crew, including the heroine, are yet to be finalised, he adds. However, he informs that the team is planning to start the shoot by July. “The idea is to go on floors before Aadi month starts,” he says.
Vikram Prabhu is currently shooting for Asuraguru, directed by Mohan Raja’s associate Rajdeep, and Thuppakki Munai by Dinesh Selvaraj, who previously directed the crime caper Naalu Perukku Nallathuna Ethuvum Thappilla.
