'Vikram'

Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' has been on the high right from its launch, and the film was released in June with much expectation. But the film exceeded its expectations, and massive responses from the audience made the film earn three times higher than its budget. Lokesh Kanagaraj's directorial has earned over Rs 400 crores at the box office, while the addition of digital and satellite rights might take the film's collection to over Rs 500 crores.

'Veetla Vishesham'

RJ Balaji played the lead role in 'Veetla Vishesham' the Tamil remake of the Hindi film 'Badhaai Ho'. He has also co-directed the film along with NJ Saravanan, and the makers have spent some crores for the film's production. But the family entertainer has transformed into a successful one in just two weeks by getting good footfalls, and the makers declared the film a beneficial one.
