'. The first phase of the filming of 'Minmini' was completed in 2016.

has waited six years as the film is set in two different periods, and she wanted the same cast to be shown as grown stars instead of casting other stars for the elderly roles. Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul are reportedly playing a cameo in the period drama, and the 'Ratsasan' duo is reportedly approached by the makers recently.

But the roles of Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul are not revealed, but seems to be an important connection between the lead stars in driving the film's story forward. 'Minmini' becomes the first Tamil film that halted work for long years for the next phase of shooting, and it shows Halitha Shameem's clear vision of filmmaking. This has also increased the buzz for the film. The pre-production work for the next phase of shooting is on, and the filming will resume in June.
