, has passed away. The veteran was known for his simple, home-style meals at his tiffin for less than Rs 10, that too for many years now.

He was inspired the teaching that one needs to feed the poor and that that was the highest form of worship. He never compromised on the quality of food he served to people. The news of his demise has come as a shock to people in Madurai.
