Vivekh plants saplings at government hospital

Actor Vivekh today took part in a plantation drive at government hospital , Omandurar. The actor planted saplings along with Health Secretary J Radhakrishnan, Corporation Commissioner G Prakash, nodal officer Ananda Kumar and NGO, Thuvakkam. The actor planted saplings using the Miyawaki method. Miyawaki is an afforestation technique pioneered by Japanese botanist Akira Miyawaki, that helps build dense, native forests.
The actor shared the picture of the drive and captioned it, "nside Govt Omanthurar multi Splity Hospital a myawakki (அடர்வனம்) was initiated in the presence of Health SecyRadhakrishnsn IAS, corpn commr Mr. Prakash IAS, and Dr.Anandkumar nodal officer, n thuvakkam ngo. @Vijayabaskarofl @RAKRI1 @AnandNodal @chennaicorp."

Vivekh is the founder of Green Kalam, an initiative involved in planting saplings. The current Miyawaki forest at the hospital will come up in a forest area of 10,000 sq ft. Around 2,000 saplings belonging to 25 species will be planted
