Ajith has joined hands with director H Vinoth for the third straight time for 'Thunivu' and the film is at the final stage of production. Director H Vinoth has revealed how Ajith agreed to the 'Thunivu' story. However, fans are wondering whether Ajith's favorite scene in 'Thunivu' was removed due to political reasons. As per the reports, Ajith didn't hear the entire story of 'Thunivu' when he locked the film with H Vinoth. He was very much interested in doing the film after hearing about an important scene in the film. But unfortunately, the scene has been removed from the film's final copy since it had some political dialogues, and Ajith didn't want it for the film.

The theatrical distribution rights of 'Thunivu' has been acquired by Udhayanidhi's Red Giant Movies. It is a well-known fact that the distributor-producer-actor is also a politician, and he holds an important place in Tamil Nadu's ruling party. So, Ajith's favorite scene in 'Thunivu' might get chopped after a suggestion from the distribution partner.


'Thunivu' is about a real-life bank robbery that happened in Punjab in 1987, and the film is going to be about a battle of black guards. Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, John Kokken, Veera, and Cibi Chandran among others play crucial roles, while Ghibran is scoring the music for the film. The first single track titled 'Chilla Chilla' is announced to release on Dec 9 and fans are excited about the song's release.
