for 'RRR'. During the promotional spree, SS Rajamouli had reportedly shared that he first thought of doing 'RRR' with Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan or Suriya and Karthi in the lead roles. However, during the development of the film Ram Charan and Jr.NTR came into the picture.

Even though Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have acted together in several films, the duo hasn't shared screen space in the last 35 years, and fans are eager to see them together again on big screens soon.

Meanwhile, SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' has been released on more than 2000 screens worldwide, and the film has already turned out as a box office blockbuster with houseful shows for day 1. The opening day collection of 'RRR' is expected to be over Rs 100 crore, and it won't be a surprise if the film breaks several Tamil movies box office records in Tamil Nadu as it has started off strongly.
