When Rajinikanth admitted that alcoholism was the worst decision he made in his life

Rajinikanth shared a serious message with his fans during the audio launch of his 2023 blockbuster 'Jailer', held in Chennai. The legendary actor opened up about his past struggle with alcohol, calling it the 'biggest mistake' of his life. He advised his fans not to misuse alcohol, but instead, to enjoy it responsibly.

'If I hadn't consumed alcohol, I could have done much more for society,' Rajinikanth admitted. 'Alcoholism was the worst decision I made in my life. If it weren’t for that, I would have reached even greater heights in my career.'


Another key moment of Rajinikanth’s speech was when he addressed the much-loved 'Superstar' title card that appears in all his films. He revealed that he had asked directors to remove it, but they refused. Fans continue to eagerly await this title in every new film of his.

The actor is now busy shooting for his next film, 'Coolie', with Lokesh Kanagaraj. His collaboration with T.J. Gnanavel for an action film, 'Vettaiyan', is creating significant buzz, as it is expected to hit theaters on October 10.
