While working on the same set with Rajinikanth, Rajinikanth noticed Sayaji Shinde sitting in the cold under a tree on the set and asked him sweetly, "Why are you sitting outside?" When Sayaji Shinde replied that he wanted to sit under the shade of the tree, Rajinikanth asked him to come inside the caravan and shared his food with him.
