Vetri Maaran has announced to direct a film featuring Suriya in the lead role, and the film titled 'Vaadivaasal' has been delayed to start rolling for a long time. Director-actor Ameer has been roped in to play a crucial role in 'Vaadivaasal' and he recently confirmed his participation in the film. But whether Ameer will be replaced in 'Vaadivaasal' is the question yet to be answered.
The puzzle arose when Ameer was involved in a conflict with 'Paruthiveeran' producer KE Gnanavelraja, as the producer called the director a cheat. Ameer condemned the producer for his statement and asked Suriya and Karthi to clear up the issue as they were both involved in the disagreement that happened during the film's release. It is worth mentioning that 'Paruthiveeran' marked Karthi's debut as an actor, while Suriya helped the film financially to have a smooth release. Accordingly, the latest controversy involving Ameer and KE Gnanavelraja has also involved Suriya and Karthi. So, it raised the puzzle of Ameer sharing the screen space with Suriya in 'Vaadivaasal.
But Vetri Maaran's team has muted the speculations by sharing a picture from the director's discussion with Ameer regarding 'Vaadi Vaasal'. Vetri Maaran's team has also stated that Ameer is an irreplaceable actor in the film.
Vetri Maaran is currently working on 'Viduthalai Part 2', and the shooting is yet to be completed. The much-awaited sequel might hit the big screens in early 2024, while Vetri Maaran will commence the work for 'Vaadi Vaasal' post the release of 'Viduthalai 2'.
