Ajith last delivered 'Thunivu' and the action drama turned out as the actor's highest-grossing film. The expectations for Ajith's next has stirred up now, and fans are eagerly waiting for the film's official launch. Now, the latest report suggests that 'AK 62' has one more twist instored. Ajith's 62nd film was earlier announced to be directed by Vignesh Shivan. But the makers and Ajith changed their minds after the director failed to impress them with the film's development. Magizh Thirumeni is now said to replace Vignesh Shivan as the director of 'Ajith 62', and the surprise addition has excited the fans.

Meanwhile, the latest report doing rounds on the internet claim that Venkat Prabhu will be the replacement for Vignesh Shivan as a director of 'Ajith 62' and the film will be a remake. However it looks like there is no truth to it as the director is currently busy with the Telugu-Tamil bilingual 'Custody' starring Naga Chaitanya in the lead role. Magizh Thirumeni who waited for a call from Vijay has recently impressed Ajith with a thriller story, and the talented director is now signed to direct 'AK 62'. The official announcement is expected to arrive by this Thursday, February 9.

Ajith will be going on a world tour on a bike once he completes the shooting of his 62nd film, and the busy actor will be taking an extended before he commences the next film.
