Will TFPC issue a red card for Kamal Haasan for the 'Uttama Villain' controversy?

Kamal Haasan's 'Uttama Villain' dispute with makers and Tamil Fil... Read More
Kamal Haasan, the popular Indian actor, has delivered several blockbuster hits, but sometimes his films have also failed to earn well at the box office. The 2015 Tamil release 'Uttama Villain' is one of Kamal Haasan's failed projects, and the film incurred a loss for the makers. Kamal Haasan promised to do one more film with the makers to compensate for the film's loss, and he signed the dotted lines. But he failed to keep up the promise even after 9 years of the film's release, and the makers filed a petition at the Tamil Film Producer's Council to take action against the actor. According to Zee News, 'Uttama Villain' makers reportedly tried to find a smooth solution, and they invited Kamal Haasan for a mutual meeting at the Producer Council's office.

Kamal Haasan has refused to attend the mutual meeting despite several invitations, and this angered the 'Uttama Villain' makers more. Accordingly, the 'Uttama Villain' makers reportedly requested the Tamil Film Producer's Council issue a red card for Kamal Haasan until the actor solved the issue. If the council accepts the 'Uttama Villain' makers' demand, then Kamal Haasan, who has been lined up to have three releases in the next six months, might face trouble finding a smooth release of his films. However, let's wait to see how the issue progresses.

'Indian 2' will be Kamal Haasan's next release as a lead, and the long-delayed project is gearing up to release in theaters in July.
