Jiiva was last seen in the recently released Sci-fi thriller 'Kee' directed by debutant Kalees. The movie had a struggle of more than a year to find its release and now, within less than three weeks of Kee's release, Jiiva is ready for his next with the comedy entertainer 'Gorilla'.
Don Sandy of 'Mahabalipuram' fame had directed the film and All In Pictures have produced the film. Previously it was announced that the film's entire jukebox was released and the film's music director Sam CS took to Twiter to share the news.

Another interesting fact is that the film will have a real chimpanzee as a part of the movie and will revolve around a heist and how the chimp and the lead actors are involved in it. Shalini Pandey of '
Arjun Reddy' fame will be making her Tamil debut with 'Gorilla'. The film also stars Yogi Babu, Radharavi, Satish and many others. 'Gorilla' will arrive on screens worldwide as a summer special on June 21.
