Like his previous movies, the expectations for actor Jiiva's forthcoming release ‘Varalaru Mukkiyam’ has been quite significant. While the success of the first single Pothi Pothi Valatha Pulla has clearly registered the movie as a 100% family entertainer that will enthral the crowds in the theaters, the second single - Mallu Girl - which was released recently, has furthermore added to this belief.
The song, composed by Shaan Rahman (one of the leading music directors of the South Indian music industry, especially for his chartbuster hit ‘Jimkki Kammal’ has become an overnight success), is getting appreciated for the peppy beats and the energetic vocals, says a press release from the film's team. "Besides his groovy vocals, the voice of Athira A Nair, who has sung this number alongside him, has also become an additional adornment. Furthermore, such numbers have always been a cakewalk for actor Jiiva, who is known for his lovely dance steps, which, in turn, has got the curiosity levels for the visuals of this song spiking up," reads the press release.
Varalaru Mukkiyam, produced by Super Good Films RB Choudary, and directed by Santhosh Rajan, features Jiiva and Kashmira Pardeshi as the lead characters. Pragya Nagra, VTV Ganesh, KS Ravikumar, Motta Rajendran, Shara Saranya, Siddique, and a few more actors are also part of this film's star cast. Sakthi Saravanan (DOP), Srikanth N.B. (Editing), Mohan (Art), Sakthi Saravanan (Stunts), and Brinda (Dance Choreography), are the technicians involved in this project, which is slated to hit the big screen soon.
