Maa Abbai Engineering Student

Synopsis: Manoj (Naga Siddharth) is an engineering student with a heart of gold. He falls for Manasa (Radhika), a junior in college. But Radhika gets engaged to Rahul (Bharath Bhushan) an NRI instead. Can Manoj win her hand?

Movie Review: Listening to the title one might just get the feeling that this movie has something to do with life and love in an engineering college. As it turns out, the title is just a faux pass. Well, by the end of the movie you realize it’s isn’t just the title, but the film itself is a huge faux pass. It seemed to bring out all the rats from their hiding in the theater. May be we are being a little to mean by interlinking housekeeping with filmmaking (it has to be said the standards of both are eerily similar). It’s just another of the many bad films that Tollywood churns out.

Manoj is a final year engineering student at a college in Rajamundry. He is smitten by Radhika, a fresher who’s new to the college. An idealist at heart, Manasa is the only daughter of Subba Raju (Nagineedu) a wealthy farmer. Manoj strikes up a friendship with Manasa and is waiting for the right time to express his love for her. But Manasa get’s engaged to Rahul, a software engineer based in USA leaving Manoj dumbstruck. He decides to move to Australia to do his MS and get over his heart ache. But destiny it seems has other plans.

The music by Chinni Charan is the only thing worth talking about in the whole movie. Everything else is just below par.
