Here're five reasons why it has a deep impact on youth

3 years ago on July 12, RX 100 released, and what a film that was? Anybody from the current generation of millennials will never forget the film. It became a big hit especially because of its realistic narration. Starring Kartikeya Gummakonda and Payal Rajput, this successful film shows that big stars are not needed for a good film. But above all, the film is mostly known for its soulful and heart-rending song Pillaa Raa. Here’re the reasons why the film was beautifully weaved around every youth emotion, making it a must-watch.

Based on true events

The movie is based on real events and will narrate the story about a well-behaved village lad Shiva who falls in love with the uninhibited and bold Indhu gets cheated by her as she goes on to marry someone else, leaving him a hyper-aggressive man. She just wants him for sex and has no intention of ever having a real relationship with him. Payal Rajput, who played the role of cunning and cruel Indhu made her Tollywood debut with RX 100.

Director Ajay Bhupathi's realistic narration

A youthful entertainer that managed to grow well on word-of-mouth, RX100 is one of the biggest hits directed by debutant Ajay Bhupathi. The director was widely appreciated for his realistic narration in the film. He brought with him a totally different mode of storytelling and redefined the romantic genre. It was a runaway hit and also cemented the position of actor Kartikeya Gummakonda as one of the leading action heroes in Telugu.

Kartikeya and Payal Rajput's chemistry

Kartikey Gummakonda and Payal Rajput, two Tollywood actors at the cusp of Tollywood glory, definitely make an adorable pair together. The duo raises the mercury with their heavy-duty lovemaking scenes in RX 100. The sizzling chemistry between Kartikeya and Payal works big time for the film. This is in fact becoming one of the most loved on-screen couples of Tollywood. The film has a good blend of comedy, romance and drama.

This movie had music by Chaitan Bharadwaj, lyrics by Chaitanya Varma, Sriman and the voices of Rahul Sipligunj, Haricharan, Karthik, Anurag Kulkarni, Deepthi Parthasarathy, Sai Charan, Uma Neha and Varam, all in one album. Every one of the songs of the movie is engraved in the hearts of lovers of Telugu music. Songs like "Reppalaninda", "Adire Hrudayam", and "Pillaa Raa" are some of the most famous Tollywood songs, even after 3 years since they were released.
